Esentepe Panaroma, Goreme Open Air Museum, Pasabag, Devrent Valley, Avanos
Our Professional guide and the driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia between 09:30 and 10:00.
Our first stop is the amazing Vista point overlooking Goreme where you will have time to take nice pictures with a beautiful view.
Next, we will visit the highlight of Cappadocia – the Goreme Open Air Museum.- The museum is a big monastery complex and there are 9 churches over 1000 year-old that you can visit. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 and our guide will give you information about the history of the region & museum. After visiting the site about 60 to 90 minutes we will drive to the our next destination.
Our next stop is Avanos, a picturesque town on a river that supplies clay for the 4000 year-old Avanos tradition of pottery. A kick-wheel demonstration by a local master and your chance at trying this ancient custom, after that we will have lunch.
After the lunch, we will drive to Pasabag Fairy Chimneys to see the best-protected fairy-chimneys in Cappadocia region. Pasabag is also called as "Monks Valley" and there are a lot of multiple-headed fairy chimneys. Our guide will give you information about the formation of these fairy chimneys.
Then, we will drive to Devrent Valley as a last place to see the camel-shaped fairy chimney. The valley is also called as Imagination Valley, because there are many formations look like mushrooms, seals, fingers and other shapes depending on your imagination. After this visit, we will drive you back to your hotel around 15:30 - 16:00.
